PREPS - Apple Cider Storage

I would like to store some apple cider in such a way that it doesn't ferment into hard cider. Any suggestions? Or does it simply have a limited storage life as cider?

If you put it into canning jars and can it by hot water bath just raise the temperature of the water to approx. 180 degrees. This will pasturize it and keep it from fermenting and seal the jars. Keeps very nicely.

Welcome! And do post early and often. We have a very large number of lurkers and sometimes we feel as if there are really only about half a dozen of us posting. Nice to have some help! (Hint to all your lukers!!!)

You can always find something to post at Lucianne, by clicking on "Original Article" and cutting and pasting the report if it's of interest to us. Your local paper or TV station should be a subscriber to one of the major news services (AP, Reuters, etc.) and you can find items there too. And, of course, there's always the BBC and the Telegraph. If you get desperate, try News Center, where you can find newspapers, periodicals, TV, radio, etc., links for just about any country in the world. Some of the links are dead but most are not.
