Now that the first 2 T-shirts have arrived at the Eglinski-Jones house, it is time for the laundry test! We look forwards to the results of both the laundry test and the Jones stamp of approval. If all goes according to plan, the OK Store will see a run on T-shirts this week!

Observant (and choosy) OK shoppers will have already noticed that the white "baseball" caps, which had been out of stock for some time, are now available for ordering! Get 'em while they're hot!

Now that I have received my OK Store officially-licensed cap, I think a review of that item is warranted (stay tuned for the results of Spike's laundry test on his shirt coming soon to an OK Forum near you).

The cap has a velcro strap on the back for size adjustments and a fairly stiff brim. It has a ventillation hole on each of the 6 panels. It looks quite "sharp". For me, it is on the small side, but then I have an unusually big head (in every species there is genetic diversity and some individuals are more highly evolved than others). If I get a haircut soon that will help it fit a bit better.

There is a problem, however, that cannot go unmentioned. The OK logo is not the right color! It is not any color that's been associated with OK (or Kansas at all for that matter)! The part that should be blue is in fact... purple!

"The part that should be blue is in fact... purple!"

Purple? That shouldn't be. I wonder what the problem is. My shirt is not purple -- though it is a darker shade of blue than shows up on my monitor. Could it be that Mook observed the logo under some sort of strange lighting? Probably not. But, I don't quite see how the logo could be the wrong color...hmmmm.

If you are not completely satisfied, there is a 30 day money back guarantee.

The initial washing test of my shirt went well. The logo didn't fade or get damaged. I followed the care instructions (wash in cold water and turn the shirt inside-out).
