burning with sony cd extreme

I am capturing home vids with ati mmc 7.0 to mpeg-1 with ntsc standards and 44.1kHz 16 bit stereo -the whole works. When I try to burn a vcd with CD Extreme it tells me the file is in the wrong format. Any ideas?

Although you are capturing in mpeg it is not a vcd compliant file. Re-encode file through tmpgenc to make it ntsc film. Then you should be able to burn it.

Can u help me. I am capturing a DVD from my playstation 2 on my hardrive converting the mpeg in to VCD then putting it on the cd.

For some reason this willnot work. if i use normal mpegs on my comp it works.

Is there some kind of lock on the dvd even though its coming through my DAZZLE. i can think how there could be one.? CHeers
