Have checked some Seattle TV and radio sites, nothing so far. I expect they're pulling back a bit, like my station, not reporting anything unless it's confirmed or looks really serious.

There are an unusual number of meatheads over there. Folks who wish to post at Freepers had better be willing (and ready) to kick a little kiester to make their point known.

It's not fair, and not very newbie-friendly, but it you do a little butt-kicking, most of the turkeys will apologize, or at least shut up.

I had to do that very thing this a.m. with one fella, and he turned right around and apologized. I think that all in all, they're pretty good people, they just don't think sometimes and aware of how others might take their comments...

Deb, can you say Gen Xers with a dearth of social skills? They remind me of a lot of the young men I work with. They'll acquire more poise as they mature.
