Did anyone watch the highlights? Richard Wright saved a pen AND was bossing the defence around: better at his age than either of our keepers will ever be, I'm afraid.

Aye, but one of tonight's keepers wasn't quite so good ;-))

Bloody French clown!

The crazy thing is, IMHO he made a fantastic world class save early in the 2nd half but f***ed up bigtime on two occasions. I guess it's a balance, and on that balance, he does more good than harm. But sureky having cocked up the first time, he should have been a bit more cautious. Un fois le chavalier, tourjours le chevalier?

But surely he's a roundhead?

As in Richard, aka Dick, the Roundhead?

BBC's Breakfast News this morning reckoned "Wes Brown and Barthez combined to make two very bad errors"!
There was no doubt who was to blame from where I was sitting, and his initials weren't WB.

I thought Schmeicel had a good game at the weekend ;-)

Barthez will never be as good as Peter was.
