Douglas Feathoars, convemtional or delta bladegreenspun.com : LUSENET : Open-water rowing : One Thread |
I have been rowing an Alden 16 with an Oasmaster I and Douglas Feathoars with a conventionallly shaped blade. Has anyone had any experience with the Feathoar delta (or whatever they call it) shaped blade?

I tried 'em and liked 'em. They seem to be efficient and comfortable especially at cruising pace; perhaps they are tailored to excel at this use, not cranking at maximum speed.
