Minolta CLE plastic winding lever top

Hi

Dropped my Minolta CLE the other day and fortunately the only thing damaged was the plastic tip of the winding lever. I cant get one from Minolta but someone mentioned that an M5 one would fit? Just wondered if an M5 user could measure the length of theirs and if it is just secured by 2 screws underneath? Or maybe other CLE users have any other ideas?

Thanks

The M5 wind lever uses one screw to secure the plastic tip. It pivots on that one screw. The M4 and up cameras (including M5 but not some special commemorative models) all use the same lever and plastic tip.

Suggest that you try Minolta first. I bought my CLE used and it had the swivelling tip on the film rewind crank missing. Brought the camera to the local Minolta service centre and the missing part was replaced in 15 minutes at very moderate cost!
