1. Newcastle had a great game, beating Bolton 4-0. Was it Newcastle's best performance of the season?

No, it wasn't our best performance but it was still a very good game. What matters is that we took three points and moved up the table - we are only four points behind Leeds and three behind Arsenal and Man Utd. From that point of view, it was an important win.

2. For the third time running, Newcastle kept a clean sheet. Is it Sylvain's arrival that has stabilised things?

I'm not sure. His physical presence helps the defence but the big thing is that he puts pressure on the other defenders and they are all more focussed.

3. You scored from another free kick. What happened?

It was the same as the FK against Man Utd only on the other side of the goalie.

4. How was your overall play?

I had a really good game and was once again elected man of the match. I put in the decisive ball for Shearer's goal and put in lots of other balls that should have ended up in the back of the net. Our finishing wasn't good but the three points are what matters.

5. Yesterday you watched PSG v Lyon. What did you think?

I thought PSG played a good agme but Lyon were very well-organised and I think a draw was about right.

6. Did you talk to anyone at PSG?

Yes, I spoke to the directors and to some of the players. It was nice to see them again.

7. When will you return to Newcastle for training?

I am still in Paris. I should have one back to Newcastle this morning but I learnt that my grand dad has died so I have go back to La Reuinion for his funeral. I think I'll be back in Newcastle on Thursday.

So he'll still be jet-lagged on the weekend....and it can't be the easiest of journeys. I suppose he might get away with just the one change at Paris. Better than jaunts to Colombia though.
