-- hamish (hiatus@ihug.co.nz), October 19, 2001.

i'm never getting married. and in keeping with the general topic of this forum, MARRIAGE IS FOR IDIOTS. i don't care what anyone thinks cos i am always right

-- di (ladydie@another.com), October 19, 2001.

-- maryann (tedium2000@hotmail.com), October 19, 2001.

Marriage is for ooplahs! My computer rules. You live in it. Therefore, I rule you. Watch this... click!...

I'll be top of the stats

-- hamish (hiatus@ihug.co.nz), October 21, 2001.

marry your computer and then you can rig the stats.

-- rainy (isitagirl@hotmail.com), October 21, 2001.

no i don't have a computer to marry. i can't marry Greenspun's computer because the Greenspun family have already taken it. i can't change the stats from anyone elses computer because of my lack of hacking ability. Why do art students not understand computers?

-- h (hiatus@ihug.co.nz), October 21, 2001.

because we are stuck in the eighties, theory-wise and with regard to fashion. Don't hurt us please.

-- rainy (isitagirl@hotmail.com), October 22, 2001.

hamish has a computer now, so when's the wedding?

-- haloist (spectral@liquidinformation.com), May 21, 2002.

my computer is old and slow and won't do what i tell it to. i don't want to marry it.

-- hamish (hiatus@ihug.co.nz), May 21, 2002.

hey! I am old and slow and won't do what you tell me to too! does that mean we won't get married and I won't get to see you in your dazzling white dress?
Aren't you supposed to be out getting a computer job right now anyway? Have you started already and y're slackling off already.

Square eyes ran back to his putey wooty

-- haloist (spectral@liquidinformation.com), May 21, 2002.

yes.
i'm back. they took one look at me and showed me the door.

-- hamish (hiatus@ihug.co.nz), May 21, 2002.

actually they only asked me marketoid questions that were supposed to open up me into ranting on about how great i was. but i didn't so the interview was very short. i was expecting technical questions to see if i could actually do the job, not "please lie about yourself while we sit here smugly".
