There has been some speculation that because the terrorists chose 9- 11, then perhaps dates in October might have some significance. Posted, strictly for your interest, and to answer a couple of questions, here are the common "10 codes." If you listen to police scanners, you may hear somewhat different ones -- they can vary by local, but these are the "standard" ones.

Yep, ours are a bit different and go up to 10-97 :) The ones that get my immediate attention are: 10-67 - dead body
10-43 - felony car chase
