Annulments for converts.

My wife and I were married in a civil ceremony in Las Vegas. She would like to convert and we would like to eventually be married in the Catholic church. We were both previously married. I am seeking an annullment from my first marriage. Does my wife need an annullment even if she was not married in the Catholic church?

Response to Annullments for converts.

Mark,
Each of you, separately, need to seek the Church's help in determining whether or not your marriages were valid or null.
If the tribunal in your (arch)diocese issues the two Declarations of Nullity, you will be free to be married.
God bless you.
John
