Description: 11/2-4 The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host farmers and other agricultural experts to learn more about sustainable agriculture in Maine. Keynote Address will be delivered by Michael Doctor of The Food Project in western Massachusetts. The Food Project is a 400-member Consumer Supported Agriculture program that also produces organic goods for local food banks. Conference registration costs $75. Food and lodging are available at additional cost.
