Making a bootable CD

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Excuse me, this is not related to VCD but I need to know how to make a bootable CD of Win98se. Previously I had made it and now I have forgotten exactly how I made it but I do remember creating an image of an entire 640 MB hard-disk. But that was a bootable Win95 + other softwares. Now I want a bootable Win98se CD with boot options such as "CD-ROM drive support" & "RAM drive" etc. + other softwares. Can anyone help me ?

no problem.. there are different ways, but this is the easiest.. just make a normal bootable floppy disk, then burn an image of all of the files from the floppy to a cdrom..

or.. install, Nero Burning Rom 5.5.xx from www.ahead.de, and run the prog.. when it starts, a wizard will try to guide you thru burning a cd, but "close the wizard" and click on "file", "new compilation", then scroll to the bottom, and choose, "make bootable cd". that's it.. have fun
