for some reason why i use a program to split my avi movie, the separate movie pieces have some discoloration when i play it. it turns purplish and then goes back to normal and so on. i dont think its because of the program i use to split because i've tried it with more than one program. somebody help me.

hi!

i had the same problem a while ago. I had a DIVX movie, but the last DIVX-like codec installed was the AngelPotionCodec. i simply reinstalled DIVX & the magenta-shadows went off.
