One arrest has been made in connection with a disturbance on Delta flight 357 from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

The flight was redirected to Shreveport Regional Airport with F-15 escorts this afternoon after a disturbance was reported in the plane's cabin, said John Clabes, regional spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Local emergency units received a 911 call shortly before the plane landed that it would be landing.

The plane was diverted at 2:43 p.m. and landed at 3:09 p.m., Clabes said.

Security officials are searching vehicles entering the airport and they are preparing to enter the airplane, said Brian Crawford, spokesman for the Shreveport Fire Department.

More details to come.
