How common is it for a healthy 38 year-old male to need total hip replacement with no previous injury?

This is fairly common. It is ideal for any patient to wait until they are older, but there are some conditions that do not allow that luxury. The most common conditions are avascular necrosis, dysplagia, rheumatoid arthritis and for some people osteoarthritis.
