Where did the five Taliban helicopters go?

F.P. Report PARACHINAR: The matter of five helicopters that reportedly landed in Parachinar immediately after the first allied assault of Taliban targets has assumed air of mystery as officials say they were refused landing.

According to initial reports, five Taliban helicopters forced landing in Parachinar shortly after US-led air attack on Kabul and Kandahar.

Official sources said the Russian-made military choppers forced landing without permission.

But officials on Monday said the helicopters left Pakistan after they were denied landing.

However, they are tight-lipped as to the destination of the mysterious whirly birds.

No word is available as to the identity of the inmates of the helicopters.
