6:32pm just getting on here, still have to water horses and go outside kitties....... what time was this posted, has BF checked in...can we please put the time we make the posts, like Beckie suggested....I am trying to pick out a few post to scim, and it would be so much easier to see the time the last post was made on the board...and if you want, to keep in the practice, time stamp the replies. only a suggestion, but there are times people can only read a few....I'd like to get an idea of how OLD the post is....

Lucky it got posted at all, with everything I've had going with work and around the house! It was around late afternoonish.

SAR, where do you suggest the time go when putting up a new thread...on the header or in the post itself? Just let me know and will be glad to do it.

And here I didn't put the time of my last one, sheesh. It was at 5:44 PM Central time.

I know this is a pain, but this was originally my suggestions, because things are breaking so fast at times, it is hard to tell what is really the most important time wise.

6:34 CDT

(Wish Greenspun did time stamps and save us all a hassle :))

I can't do it on all the articles I cut and paste, although if there's a time included in the text it goes in. I'll try to remember to do it on the "hearsay" bits, as in things I hear from TV.

chances are i won't around much as it is.

LOL

You're sweet to worry so about us, but Deerfield is just where the contents of our house went. We are now living in a hotel near the airport in miami.

I heard this story at noon today. Just a little blurb on the news. I will be back to work on Thursday, if things go right. I managed to access the internet a few times from my parents home. Now I have my computer set up at this hotel, and I can connect using the 56K modem I have in the computer. When I did the ADSL card, I never removed the modem. Fortunately I didn't need any software loaded. That's all packed up in Deerfield.

We're making a shopping list of stuff we need here. Kitchen sponge, scrubber, stuff like that.

Relaxing a bit, too. dinner soon. have to type up the list of food tossed. They said that all the food would be replaced. All the food. All the cans of food. boxes, boxes, cans, all of it. we gave a lot of it away.

7:23 PM Central

SAR, right now I am doing good doing one thing at a time :^) I couldn't sleep last night until really late, so when I got up...I read all this stuff going on with the IRS building, etc., etc. Talk about waking me up quick! I just made two calls and neither of the people knew what was going on, so I gave a brief hightlight of dthe important stuff in regards to the anthrax.

Barefoot, so glad to hear you are doing ok, please take care and keep in touch with us.

9:00 pm EDT. I gotta leave this party for the evening. Barefoot, watch your six. I think that most of the reports about the envelopes with the white power are incidents meant to further terrorize us. That would've been the cheapest -- use several "real" doses of spores and then fake the rest. The CDC still has to investigate each one, tying up valuable resources.

I pray that tomorrow will be a delightfully boring day. Fortunately, I don't have to go back to Michigan this week. I hope that others are able to put off their trips for awhile.

945pm...Hey...Meem...so glad you'll be staying close to home..I was "concerned" every bit of the way to my dad's... CB from Inner connections drove, and we were on the turnpike for 4-5 exists...one "strange" funny thing..we must have passed 5-7 triple- piggyback semis for UPS...barefoot..is this normal???? and they seemed to be trying to stay in a convoy.

as I understand it, while mail can go on commercial aircraft, packages are still being transported via trucks. Last I heard, anyway.

So, piggy back rigging while be seen more often. I thought three was too many.

For new posts, it might help if, now and then, someone would do as I just did--put a header with just the TIME in it. At least we could see a rough time frame for when they were posted. Maggie and I are both old buggers and have lost some memory and brain function. You can laugh! Your turn will come!

12:40 pm EDT.

Barefoot, I think anything over three is illegal in Ohio. They may have gotten special permission or were just cruising thru as fast as they could.

SAR, I'm glad that you had someone to split the driving. That's just too long of a haul for a day trip. The new closing date is scheduled for Thursday of next week.

I have my fingers crossed that all goes well. I'd like to be done with that house, but I'm still glad that I didn't have to leave today. I'm looking forward to working around home and sorting out what passes for my storeroom later today.
