looks like Trev's not happy, wonder if he's a pal of Wozza?

Bollix - he'll be a Makem by the end of the week.

Aye, he'll be a Mackem very soon methinks.

.... his C5 was sh*te although I liked the Spectrum

I (well my dad really) bought his first "Programable Calculator". A fine piece of electronics!

Spectrum was a good machine apart from feeling like you were typing on a hot water bottle. Penetrator was the game:-)

That would be a shame, he's a good player. Whilst everyone made a song and dance about Di Canio uncharacteristically making a monkey out of a defender, it went virtually unremarked that Sinclair burst through down our left at will. Still, Kilbane will no doubt keep him on the bench as will Hugh Jarce.

yup you're right Softie...he looked pretty good against us.....not hard I know but he did ;)

Well, what can I say? You know, I will say one thing, and then I might say another. But the one thing I will say is that it's a funny old game you know. I remember (yes, really I do) only a few weeks ago Newcastle United Football Club were accused of upsetting Sinclair's apple cart situation. And you know, it wasn't only Sinclair's apple cart that was upset. It upset me a lot as well. I said at the time that it was nothing to do with Newcastle United Football Club and I have been proved right. I had a feeling that Peyter might have upset the cart and now it seems I was right. It's a funny old game of two halves you know.

I hope it's true, why even you guys know we've had no quality right winger in our team since Buzza went off the boil.

And finally we'll have a side that has two quality wingers, Hoolio on the left and Trev on the right.

Reminds me of another team I know ;o)

Apparently Leeds are after him, too. I hope so..he would surely prefer Leeds to the Makems?

Canny player - actually I'd think seriously about swapping Solano for him as he's more consistent, and flexible.

-- Anonymous, October 08, 2001

....not to mention the passport, international commitments (and wanted by the Makems?).

If we're looking at availabele players they surely Seth Johnson would be a more appropriate player to be bidding for. The right side of midfield doesn't seem a big priority with solano and Dyer when he ever returns.

Prices for Sinclair look to around £10m!!!! Surely not. And people laughed at us for paying £6M for Bellamy!

Who would we be better off with Seth Johnson +Trevor Sinclair or Solano + Dyer?

We could possibly buy Johnson and Sinclair for £15 and Sell Solano + Dyer for £30 m.

But the £15M is more than made up for in the number of rumours that Nobby and LKD generate. You have to remember, if we get rid of them, Alan Oliver and John Gibson would be out of a job. Hang on.............

Don't you mean Alan Oliver and Dishcloth?
