1.25 magnifier question...............

How does the new magnifier work with the 75mm and a .72 body? also, who has them? thanks gil

Answers

It depends on whether you wear glasses and the shape of your head (how close you can get). I do not wear glasses and on my 0.72x TTL I can see the 35mm framelines. It makes the viewfinder magnification the same as the M3, so you can open both eyes and see the frame floating in the air. I like it but I only use it with longer lenses as it prevents you from being able to see outside the framelines with a 35mm.

Even if you wear glasses, if you can even just make out the 35mm frameline in your 0.72x with the normal eyepiece, you'll have no trouble seeing the 75mm framelines with the 1.25x. I got mine from Rich Pinto at The Photo Village in NYC. His e-mail is Photovilla@aol.com
