CLEVELAND -- A sheriff's deputy who stopped a man for driving erratically spotted an arm inside one of five trash bags stuffed in the back seat of the car.

When deputy Todd Hicks asked the driver, William Stewart, 51, about it, Stewart allegedly told Hicks: "That's my wife."

Stewart was jailed Thursday after telling authorities he killed his 40-year-old wife Joyce, said Parma police spokesman Bill Mauer. The Stewarts lived in the Cleveland suburb of Parma.

He was not immediately charged in the death.

Medina County Sheriff Neil Hassinger said the body parts, which included a head and torso, appeared to have been washed before being put in the trash bags.

The victim had died of gunshot wounds more than 12 hours before the traffic stop in Medina County, coroner Neil F. Grabenstetter said.

Mrs. Stewart served 90 days in jail for attempting to obstruct justice and help her son, convicted killer Mark DiMarco. DiMarco was sentenced to 94 years to life in 1998 for abducting, raping and killing a woman but he hanged himself in his jail cell. Copyright © 2001, The Associated Press

This all went down in the town I used to live in...something is happening there. I do NOT even talk about Satan worship, but there has been alot of secret talk of that in that area. makes one wonder...a person would HAVE to be possessed to do some of this stuff!
