Thanks for the help. Now a last question what are the four functions (activated through function button) in EOS 500N? my guesse based on experience of other EOS cameras is

Function 1 = Red Eye reduction (0-off, 1-on) Function 2 = Sound (0-off, 1-on) Function 3 = Multi exposures (1 to 9) Function 4 = ??????

Function 4 = Autoexposure bracketing turn the main dial to set the desired bracketing amount
