Bolton tickets sought!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

I'm desperately seeking two Toon section Bolton tickets. The club have decided not to sell any tickets to the general public... A quick answer would be appreciated, as otherwise I'll be forced to sit in one of the home fans' sections. The Bolton ticket office confirmed tickets are still available, but made sure to mention that they are only for Bolton fans... P.S. I'll be travelling from Holland.

i wonder if being a "bolton fan" is a legal status or put it another way, can they discriminate on ticket sales based on who you support, or can they chuck you out if they think you're not a "bolton fan" even if you're behaving yourself.

is discrimination by football clubs based on the opinion (team preference) of the individual an infringement of freedom of speech.

does anybody in the uk care

If we're going down to Bolton, Will Lynda be able to put us all up for the weekend?

Get one in the home bits. So long as you don't start singing along with the Lads you'll be ok. But don't argue with any 6'4" fellers...one might be my brother-in-law :-)

Has anyone actually received their tickets yet or am I in for yet another day of calling the box office?

Markus - are you sorted yet - I have a NW address and can get them sent here - the issue is getting them to you - I'm not going to the match as I'm away Friday-Sunday.

Thanks Josh, but I retorted to buy tickets in the home section late this afternoon - I was worried I'd be ending up with nowt.
