Did anyone videotape the funeral mass on 9/15/01 of Barbara Olson the news commentator who was killed in the bombings of 9/11? I saw it and was muched moved by the music and the homily on the differences between good and evil.I would like a copy of this and would pay for it.It gave me much comfort at such a time of intense turmoil and fear for our nation.I think about it daily since that time and wish to replay it and share with others. Thank you, Theresa Lipe

Contact the tv station you saw the mass on. Many times they keep the tapes of programming aired for a short while and often they can make you a copy for a nominal fee. It will help to be able to tell them the date and time of the program you wish.

I was a great fan of Barbara Olson's and missed her funeral on t.v. also. When I heard she had been a passenger on that fated airliner, it was like losing a family member. My heart broke for all the people and families involved in the WTC, Pentagon attacks, and crash in Pa. Yet Barbara's death touched me more deeply, leaving a sadness in my soul.

I can imagine her funeral symbolized her life. Barbara was someone who spoke out against wrongs, loved the Constitution of her beloved United States, and sought justice within the laws of our country.

I think of her on that airplane. Here was a woman, who I admired greatly. She was confronting an evilness, a total abomination of humankind, when she looked in the eyes of the terrorists. Barbara was so good, so kind, the exact opposite of these madmen. Yet she had the good sense to call her husband, to let someone know what was happening. And try to figure out how to stop these men. Barbara was that way, a cool logical-thinking kind of person.

I will sorely miss this woman. The country will sorely miss this woman. For Barbara Olson was someone who dearly loved this country and it's laws. I looked for her to run for public office one day--what could have been, what might have been. Sadly we will never know.
