I wrote my thoughts on this episode on my forum, but here I'll copy and paste my mental notes!

-Reese Witherspoon telling that polar bear "balls" joke...sort've scary. I mean the look on her face while telling it was abit creepy. even mom was abit perturbed.

-that fake commercial for preparation-H....mom thought it was a real commercial and she was in shock. we both had to turn away. wtf? been smokin' something...

-the classroom skit where one of the students outside moons against the window and the teacher blocks it but you still see ass = *ahem*

-The Little Mermaid ...um, no NOnoonooooo so wrong! this was beyond icky. inter-species? are we going abit faaar here? like sex in the ocean (ala sex in the city)?

-heh heh. jimmy fallon was still cute despite the bad hair day. re: weekend update skit where he kept fixing it cause it kept sticking up. hee! awww...

-did we need to see that burping and farting baby skit? ugh....that was an annoying one! AUGH! always have to throw in the gross or utterly annoying skits don't they?

-musical guest was good. alicia keys right? her braids are coo. mom likes em. haha. she got to see her video last night on the VH1 countdown; she hadn't known who she was before and she was all proud to know now...hehe. she's always talking about being behind on the scene.

-that was niiice how some of em were wearing I -heart- NY shirts cause of the happenings. and how they flashed the number at the end of the weekend update.

so, yeah, I thought it was abit weird, but it had some good skits in it and was worth watching just for cute jimmy fallon and his hair..heh heh.

...oh yeah and to add on bits I forgot...the musical teacher bit - hee! I liked the bootylicious part and get your freak on...woohoo!

Rudy was, once again, outstanding, and hilarious even if his zinger ("Why start now?") was scripted. And even if he did creep me out a little with his stern staring right into the camera.

I've heard other people question the Paul Simon song choice, and maybe he could've sung something more patriotic, but I'm of the opinion that nobody can compete with Paul for soothing, sentimental music. Paul himself was an unexpected but good choice.

Tina Fey will forever be my girlcrush. I LOVE her. And the collaborative stylins of Marty Culp and Bobbi Mohan-Culp crack me up every time.

Did you guys catch Jimmy Fallon on Band of Brothers last night?

I missed the mermaid sketch, but from what I hear, it sounds funny. "I went down on a shark!"

I absolutely love Wake Up Wakefield. "Dude, I can totally hear you." "That's cool."

That's all I have to say about Reese Witherspoon.

Rudy and the gang were great.

Jimmy Fallon was on Band of Brothers last night.

And I'm a big tool, because I can see now that Aidan already brought that up. Sorry, I was all het up over the Reese business.

Maya is my secret girlfriend.

Hee, you WERE het up, weren't you? Great entry. Everything I needed to know about Greazee Reese Witherspoon, I learned from one of Keli's fabulous entries featuring a story from Kevin Smith.

My husband kept saying, "Who IS that girl? I KNOW I know her from somewhere!" and finally I told him, "That's the 'Fuck me, Mr. McAllister!' girl" and he knew exactly who I was talking about.

I thought the Little Mermaid skit was risky and funny until Horatio Sans showed up with that plastic fish. Then it started reaching too hard and got stupid.

Robyn, did you keep waiting for Jimmy to bring on the punch line on BoB like I did? And I'm sorry, I'm all for the artfully tousled hair but the ONLY excuse he has for it being that messed up is, in fact, war.

I try not to watch the newer SNL...well except for Weekend Update. Jimmy Fallon is *bootaylicious!* (yay! I used it in a sentence!)

Other than that, I'd rather stay up late and watch the old ones.

"knock knock" "whos there?" "land shark." "no! you cant come in!" (pause) "knock knock" "whos there?" "uhhh...candygram." "oh, okay. hang on" (unlocking door) "chomp!" (various screaming)

AHAHAHAHA!

Oh Lord, I looked up Keli's Reese entry, and I don't understand how I missed that! Hilarious!

I'm so glad I watched it on tape so I could fast forward past the utter shite. That's all I have to say.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They did the Candygram sketch with Tina Fey tonight! I may die of laughter.
