The subject is well composed and the print is well executed, but I don't get much from this picture. I know I am inadequate in saying why, but here goes: The subject and the action and the background and the composition and the emotion of being "discerning" all feel ordinary to me, to the extent of blandness. The photograph moves me toward impatience because I feel like I'm with this person and I want her to stop looking and continue walking with me. This seems to happen a lot with me and the boss lady. Thank you for posting. The forum is still alive!!
