Now the Guardian's 'advertising' the cheap repo industry!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

Check out the Guardian's Jobs & Money supplement today (29th Sept 2001, p 9). A new book is featured, Buy Your Home At Half The Price by Maxwell Hodson. One of his main tips? Try to buy a repossession! the journalist reporting this book, Elizabeth Langton, doesn't even question the ethics or the legalities. "Repossessions are often sold at auction and the oweners' need for a quick sale means the guide price is often low." Blah blah.

If this book annoys you, and if the Guardian's unquestioning free publicity for it annoys you, please let the Guardian and the publishers know.

Yes, thanks for the reminder - it made me grind my teeth a bit too - I've also written something suitable to Jobs & Money
