This is a Course in Miracles

“This is a Course in Miracles. The course is mandatory. The only thing up to you to decide is when you take it.” – from the book A Course in Miracles

Colin Powell this week placed part of the blame for the escalation of terrorism in the Mideast on Bill Clinton, saying that Clinton’s stance had been too aggressive. On the other hand, most Clinton detractors blame Clinton because he was not aggressive enough. Clearly, this is a case of damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don’t.

We also heard Dick Morris this week, who is a Clinton detractor, admit that because of the depositions and legal predicaments Clinton was facing from those who were determined to prosecute him for his sins of the flesh, mistakes were made in how the Mideast situation was handled.

Why is there such polarization and casting of blame? Could it be that it is a necessary ingredient for us to learn forgiveness? Are we in an Earth School, and events in our lives are courses in higher – much higher -- education?

I will not forgive Clinton for lying to the citizens of the United States. I will not forgive Clinton for selling White House bedrooms to his celebrity buddies. I will not forgive Clinton for releasing 10 terrorists before his departure from the White House. I will not forgive Clinton for dismantling the military and leaving us vulnerable to more attacks. I will not forgive Clinton for making a mockery out of freedom and justice. Everytime I see that man, I want to vomit! BTW, living on this earth and seeing the ilks of Clinton, one doesn't need a higher education to see where we've been and where we are going.

"Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists." - main premise of A Course in Miracles

"Nothing that exists does not exist. And nothing that does not exist is existing" That is indeed profound.
