BHphotovideo.com or cameraworld.com

I'm not saying they are the only good ones, but I've ordered lots of stuff from both and they are fast, reliable and well priced.

There are plenty of much cheaper stores out there but a lot have a habit of sending you a chunk of plastic and emailing your credit card number to the nearest federal prison.

The cheapest price is not always the one to take when shopping online.

For really good recommendations head over to the forums on photo.net. They have tonnes of comments from folks about all the stores.

Have fun with your new camera.

Second the motion on B&H and Cameraworld as preferred providers. You might try supporting your local camera store by printing out a the price page from B&H or Cameraworld and asking your local local shop to meet the U.S. (not import / gray market) price. That will support your local shop and simplify your life if you need to make a return.

(I don't think it's fair, though, to ask a local shop to meet a lowball price from a questionable web dealer that I wouldn't consider actually ordering from anyway!)

I'll third the motion on B&H (NY,NY) I buy everything from them. There are no surprises. The price is what's advertised. You don't have to worry about someone ripping off your credit card number, and they are prompt & professional.
