Does anyone use the Leica grip manufactured by Photo Equipment? Is it a quality piece of equipment? I'm interested in one for my Nikon FE.

I've used one on an FM- I wasn't impressed with the grip at first, although constructed nicely. After use I found it indespensible, at least until I bought an F3+MD4. Would definitely recommend the grip, though.

I have an SL and it is the best manual camera I have ever used. Built like a sh** house but smooth as silk. However handling was a big problem especially with these heavy older Leitz lenses. A friend told me the Photo Equipment grip for the Nikon F/F2 fits perfectly on the SL and it is true. If you have an SL or SL2 give Photo Equipment a try.
