Win - Lose - Draw Liverpool Home

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

As we all did so poorly against West Ham - I don't think anybody got it right. It's back to the drawing board - so you are all cordially invited to speculate on this week-ends visit of the thieving scousers.

We'll score goals against them, we'll score goals against every team in the league - at home that is. Can we stop teams scoring against us is my worry?
Home win.

Toon 1 - Liverpool 3 (Goalkeeping error although Heskey will claim it as his own, Heskey and Hamman)

I see Rik's logic... 7-2 ok then... no more coffee for you Rik!!!! personally the score may be a bit more civil, let's say 2-0 to us, Shearer and Bellamy.

-- Anonymous, September 28, 2001

Score draw, probably 2-2.

-- Anonymous, September 28, 2001

0-0 with Bellamy to score first

-- Anonymous, September 28, 2001

Win 3-2 Shearer, Acuna and Given...oops I mean Griffin. Can I put John Beresford's prediction in as well? He's going with 1-0 win according to himself on the ESPN preview show.

Draw. Thats a first for me, I think

Well I reckoned we would get beaten by West Ham as it was our 13th game (previous 12 unbeaten) and we have been unbeaten at home now for 12 games - this is our 13th so fate is going to take a hand against us in a 2-1 defeat (one of their goals being a disputed penalty).

Win to us

-- Anonymous, September 29, 2001

Just taken alot of confidence tablets. I'll change my decision to WIN.

-- Anonymous, September 29, 2001

It's gonna be 3-2 either way, a penalty to decide it, for us I HOPE!

Since it's now going to be impossible for me to get to DC to watch tomorrow's match(got way too much to do before the visit of my Mom next week), I"m changing my answer to

Win.
