I've heard a couple of reports today about not only service-age men fleeing Afghanistan, but also Taliban troops, as in those guarding remote outposts, have been deserting. I see the hand of the US in these activities. Sure, it wouldn't take much to get these poor devils to leave but I believe this is due in part to the US putting out the word; the first shots fired in the covert war.
