One would think, wouldn't one?

One would think that now in our hour of need one might see certain persons return from their self-described 'retirements' for the greater benefit of OK. One might think that Michael Jordan's return to the NBA after several years (and reportedly several tens of pounds) removed from competition would serve as worthy inspiration for such a return.

One might even think that our own OKers, at least one of whom was struck down and now laid low after his knee gave way in service to his club would sound a clarion call to bring any wayward sheep back into the fold. Might one see a "denial of laundry service" otherwise?

One might speculate that while some OKers are kept busy gathering intelligence on evildoers abroad, others are waiting in the wings, training hard to take up any slack.

Will one witness, perhaps, those who have gained weight over the summer become inspired to get down to business no matter what the personal cost? One would think so.

Perhaps those who have recently directed meets but who have yet to post results might be inspired to do so, if only to avoid casting OK into the lot of the "haplessly helpless". Perhaps a nobler calling would be the catalyst. We all hope so.

One might think a lot of positive things about OKers, but would one be correct? I'd like to think so.
