i am a making a small project for suger industry,and now my finle output are ready so and my file is an ".avi format", how can my avi file to converter in ".dat format" file. If any software is their, which automaticly converted to dat file output or if any suggestion. pl. let me know the name of the software and the way of usage of that software. you need xing mpeg converter in order to convert your avi files to mpeg then you will need a Nero Burning Rom software to convert your mpeg file to .dat the file extension for VCD.

I found two programmes called win mpg and fx mpeg which will convert avi files to mpeg

I have used the avi to mpeg software but i am getting only the unrigestered version any other software is there or what.If so plz give suggestion for avi to mpeg.
