Is Robert likely to play tonight?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Some sites indicate he is an injury doubt as did the Evening chron last night. Any more news this morning?

And how poor a side will we suddenly look without him ?

There seems to be the foundations of another communication chasm here between BR and one of his players - not for the first time.

Robert says on his web-site that he has had this heel injury since before he signed for us, and that he is doubtful for the game tonight.

BR says he knows nothing of any injury, and he's assuming Robert will be playing tonight - ".... oh, and by the way bonny lad, you've got to toughen yersel up a bit, and get bloody stuck in."

HOW can this happen? Cracks appearing already?

Merde!

Sky web site news on the teams for tnights match has Robson saying the Robert is definitely fit for tonight.

Of course he's fit, he can walk, can't he. Ok, so he's limping and wincing a bit, but that's nothing. Just needs to stuck in and battered around like a man out there on that pitch. He'll be fine.

Is there anything to the rumour that the physios already have a treatment table reserved for him? :-/

Ciara - you've depressed me now!

Just being my usual sarky self and trying to get a jump start on any doom and gloom that could result from tonight's match. ;-)

Hmm, if we still had Stephen Glass on the bench, we might be happier...although I think he's injured for Watford.

He set one up and scored another for Watford last night.

Sorry, Softie, I know he has been injured: I didn't realise he was back. Deserves to be part of a better side, really, than that Watford side are looking.
