Did any of you watch the Who Wants to Be A Princess?

I signed up to be on the Diarist Finals panel. I'm gonna change the system from the inside out! I doubt I'll get picked though.

AB - do you know who that shortkid.scribble is??

What's Who Wants to Be A Princess?

No, I know whoever it is has linked to me before--remember, it was like reading on speed?

Has anyone used Priceline for flights? I'm scared.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I'd wager you could get a really low fare right now regardless of priceline. The best way to get discounts is to get the emails that the airlines send out. Where and when do you want to go? I bet you could get a really low fare from Southwest withoug having to deal with Priceline.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

God. I wrote that like I'm in the third grade.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Third-graders don't use the word wager!

I want to go to Chicago on Oct. 12. For the con of journals.

AB - Southwest has a special that you can fly ANYWHERE for 34-89 one way. Want me to forward you the email?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Ooh, yeah!

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Really, there's no need for Priceline when you're lucky enough to live in a city that has Southwest.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

AB, you realize you'll be the MATH+1 ambassador, right? That's a huge responsibility. Say nice things about us!

T - I think there's a smackdown just waiting in the Squishette thread.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Why do you think I'm even going, M? I have to represent, don't I?

Oh yes, T, please smack that pimping girl down.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I'll do it. Just give me a sec.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I can't think of anything to say.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Poor Berman.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Hee, T said we're for squishiness. Ha ha.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I issued a polite smackdown.

I love that this is our forum, and we can smack down at will. Really, we're been generous with the smackdowns, considering some of the opportunities we've had.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

You did good. But hello! You're on a forum, why would you offer someplace for the stupid Squishettes to go? Duh.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Oh, and "Who Wants to Be a Princess" was on Fox (of course) and it was sort of like Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, expcept the didn't marry the prince at the end, they just won a dream date with him. And the girl he picked was NASTY.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

They actually had a prince on this thing? I thought Fox said they were going to be less white trash.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

What was the the Prince of? Bel-Air?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

He was a "prince." He's from the Italian royal line. Actually, he was in People a while back. They did this thing on the world's last remaining prince bachelors.

He also works in the US and owns a real estate business.

Hello!

I just had my interview. I believe I might have rocked the house. If they don't hire me, I will be ashamed of them.

I don't know. Sometimes in interviews I come out thinking I did great and then later, in the dark, I play it over in my mind and think I might have seemed immature... hmmm.

I can do nothing now but turn it over to the Lord. PRAISES!!!

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I'm sure they loved you. Did they mention HYD?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Oh, and how was Wilco?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

They didn't mention it, no. But I met the girl who is my reader and it was very weird, but nice.

Wilco was so good, I might write an entry about it - but I ain't gots no time now, as the temp people are waiting on me.

I had to come home and change from "business dress" to "business casual" because I think I'm going to be filing all day.

MATH + 1 is hopping today, even if it just us.

T - are you going to FL?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Eventually - the meeting keeps getting rescheduled. Pain in my ass.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I still can't believe how cheap those Southwest fares are. Makes me wanna go to Vegas!

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Where'd y'all go?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I was wondering the same thing!

Bribing people actually worked. I've had like 10 more people join the notify in the past month.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Mine's stuck. But that's OK. It's not like I've been an updating machine anyway.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Me either. I really want to update too. But I have nothing to say!

Maybe another MATH collab will get us out of our rut?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I'm just unmotivated. Someone give me a topic or something.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Me too. I was going to make Sara give me an assignment.

Hmmm. How about - having big boobs.

No wait.

Write about your childhood pets, or about the Hawaiian Orchid. Or about your Survivor obsession.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

We actually just got a puppy this weekend (well, my parents did).

So cute.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Really? What's it like?

(See, write about that, fool.)

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

It's so un-macho. Writing about puppies. Not manly.

But it's sooooooooooooooooo cute. And tiny!

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Talk about he'll be a killer. That's macho. What kind?

And my Survivor thread getting no love. Damn!

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

See now, I'm always ready with the love.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Who are these anon people? Anon is appropriate for the tawdry stuff, but I think it's absurd to not post under your real name/handle if it's in a regular discussion forum.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Where?

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

The be all you can be thread. Not people, really - person.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

Yeah, that's annoying.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

I think I'm heading out in a minute - Chris is running the Corporate Cup and I'm meeting him for the booze part of the party.

Allison - I love your post in the army thread.

-- Anonymous, September 25, 2001

That starlight. As if saying "hah" rather than "hee" is any less annoying.

I think I'm going to go home before I get more catty.
