24/9 Tass 155 MOSCOW, September 24 (Itar-Tass) - A resident of Chechnya has been arrested in the city of Argun, Chechnya, during a special operation, on whom a scheme was found, that featured strikes at the buildings of the U.S. World Trade Centre by the planes, captured by terrorists, representatives of the public relations centre of the Federal Security Service (FSS) branch in Chechnya told Tass on Monday.

They specified that the word "jihad" was written on the back side of the scheme. Aside from it, ten army tents and ten sleeping bags were confiscated from the detainee.

The operation was staged by officers of the FSS branch in Chechnya jointly with the provisional police service and the prosecutor`s office.

I wonder why the person would have just that one, and not one with DC targets as well...

Sounds fishy to me.

Because, from what I understand, much of it was compartmentalized so that only one cell of three or four people would know what targets they in particular would hit. I thought it sounded a bit fishy too but only on "6th sense."

I think there is a lot of "fishy" smell to this whole incident. Too many people involved over too long a period. Too many planes brilliantly grabbed in just the right time frame and then directed with stunning precision and pin point accuracy. And, no hint of all this being in the works? No discovery of *any* sort of plot? Something fishy, yes.

I think we have to carefully keep an open mind to the possibility of being given disinformation now. If we go back to the JFK period, we uncover a lot of strange contradictions. Or later, with Bobby. How about McVeigh at Oklahoma City? Did he act alone or only with one or two other "amateurs" in setting up that blast? More importantly, was that blast damage even *possible* from the alleged "fertilizer" mix that has been officially claimed as the cause?

These are not idle questions, because if we start to dig into these matters we uncover some very big discrepancies and some very upsetting facts. Those facts then lead to alarming thoughts which most of us automatically just push aside as impossible. But are these things impossible? And if they are indeed possible, who is really behind such things and what is their true agenda?

If you want to take a short course in Colombo crime scene investigative skills, try the following link. You may not like it though, unless you can find a way to call it all bunk. Unless you can find a way to comfortably blame it all on a simple perpertrator like the Warren Commission tried to do with Oswald. Did the Warren Commission do everything possible to uncover the full facts and truth? Did we get the full facts and truth about TWA 800? Is the information being fed to us now about the WTC truthful? Sigh....

The guy who runs the following web site was on Art Bell the other night.

I think the Russians have a big incentive to fabricate something of this sort (and it seems pretty damn clumsy to me).

Gordon, lots of directions that misinformation could go. However, one thing is very clear to me. That if, somehow TPTB, the illuminati, our own movers and shakers, whatever, are responsible for 911, the last thing they would want to destroy is their own mecca, the WTC. I can see the Pentagon and the White House as expendable, however.

I think we must say to ourselves, "Hey, the average bear is NOT like we are." Around here, if there's a problem people tend to ignore it. They'll gossip like mad to friends and relatives but God forbid they report to the authorities someone they think is a drug dealer or that someone is breaking into the house next door. They don't want to be seen to be nosey, even though they're the nosiest damn people I've encountered in my 34 years here.

Also, most people are afraid of looking like an idiot. They'll say, "What if I'm wrong?" There are even those who say, "I don't care, I don't want to know." This has been my experience with the Neighborhood Watch program in two states. People just have an aversion to "turning someone in," which led to two serious drug dealers becoming entrenched in this area. In one case, the girlfriend of the dealer was murdered and the house torched in a turf battle; in another it was up to the feds to get the guy in a widespread sting--he lived two blocks from me! In the case of the murder/arson, neighbors had noticed the heavy traffic to the house (in a VERY nice neighborhood, I might add) and hadn't reported it "because we didn't want anyone to think we were racist." I think that's why the guy up our street got away with it for so long too--he was black as well.

People might have an initial suspicion but their whole social training is to be nice to people, to give them the benefit of the doubt, turn the other cheek, need absolute proof before they act, etc., etc. Cops tell us all the time, "If it smells funny, it probably is," but people still don't want to appear as suspicious, nosey individuals. Besides, these guys were relatively nice-looking, clean cut, caused no problems--they had been trained to keep a very low profile. Any weird questions would be considered just funny foreigner stuff.

Brooks,

It's just not possible yet to figure out why those responsible would want the WTC destroyed. Also, it may not have been the intention to totally bring it down, but merely to seriously damage it. You have to admit that almost nobody thought those towers would self-destruct the way they did. Mistakes are made. As to why the "secret government" would hit those towers, well, the whole point was to create an international incident. Lots of foreign businesses were tenants there. Often the more unlikely or bizarre these things seem the more you have to look into the details, later, when they become available. What do you think about the McVeigh matter, for instance, after sifting through the various reports that are now available?

I wonder if they were trying to hit specific floors? Bin laden has a business or ecnomics degree and thus has some knowledge of how to put a dent in US business. (As well as how to make money in the market by shorting.) He could disrupt the economy by taking out certain firms in the WTC--like Cantor Fitzgerald, which lost close to 800 people. It has been mentioned how Wall Street is going to have some problems without those knowledgeable and experienced people. Generally speaking the largest and richest firms would have the top floors because the view usually costs more the higher up you are.

Yes, I think they didn't realize the towers would actually come down. That was a big bonus for them. Fox ran the actual morning show over the weekend and it was just as horrifying as it was when I was watching it live. More, because I was in a bit of shock at the time.
