The subject line sounds a little confusing, but that's how I think it feels right now. This has been the worst summer I've had in exactly 10 years. Surrendering with the promise of restoration, compromise, gross disappointments, the last two weeks with the terrorism and heartrendering personal tragedy. How hard it's been. All of my homestead stuff seemed to have gone away, but then last week I made soap. Something that simple gave me hope and realization (again) that God keeps His promises. My spirit was renewed. Thanks God for simple pleasures.

I know what you mean. Last Saturday I weeded all day and felt so much better. I seriously believe that gardening puts one in a position that allows the sense to come through so much better.....;}. God is good.
