Any leicaphile has field experience using the Apo-Telyt-R 800/5.6 lens.Please advise.

I use the pre-modular 280/2.8APO-Telyt with 1.4xAPO and 2xAPO teleconverters stacked together, for am effective 840/8, with publishable-quality results, bearing in mind the constraints of the reduced aperture/slower shutter speeds and the increased need for attention to solid support. I can't imagine the modular 800/5.6 being less good, and in all probability it should be better; however it is a much heavier and longer apparatus and so even more need for support against vibration could be a mitigating factor.
