I sure hope that you guys watched this, I am so glad that I did. So many messages of peace and love. Our Artists speak of love while our leaders speak of revenge? I hope that you get to see this and experiance the healing that we did through this the music of our times.

I watched it, and it was great! The music was wonderful. I'm going to have to get ahold of the CD.

Yes!! Was great!! My kids and I had lotsa fun identifying everybody........got all but one..........I agree, it was very heartwarming........Bon Jovi I particularly liked cuz that song was SO much better acoustically!! And "Imagine" ALWAYS makes me weep....

(Didn't Clint Eastwood look funny?? Like the nurses just threw some clothes on him and shoved him on stage? )

I didn't do as well at identification as you, EM. Who WAS that singing Imagine? Was that Neil Young? How did they (we) all get so old? Oh well!

I thought Clint E. was in costume! Yeah, no kidding. And the old time award goes to Willie Nelson, who should be doing ads for sunscreen, I guess.

I had a hard time identifying anybody! I did figure out most of the old guys. But who was that lovely black woman playing the grand piano? (had two braids hanging down her cheeks.) Sorry, I don't get out much...

I cried during "Imagine." And I thought Julia Robers she looked like she was going to cry.

I liked Neil Young's hat. And his playing with Eddie Vedder was pretty fine...

HA! Yes, Joy, was Neil Young! I think Ol Willie has ALWAYS looked like that! He still has beautiful hair!

That beautiful black woman at the keys was Alicia Keys. I saw her on Oprah a couple weeks ago.

Okay, so I had a little help with the id-ing from my girls. Kelsey Grammer almost cried too........I know the executive producer of Frasier was in one of those planes..........

I got to see the benefit too. I recognized the old duffers, but didn't have a clue who the youngsters were. I loved all the acoustic guitar playing. Clint WAS shabby wasn't he. Well at least we know there is at least one celebrity who doesn't spend much thought on what he looks like, or did he look like that on purpose?! I told my hubby that my hair will look like Willy's in a few years when its all gray. He said that was fine as long as my face doesn't follow!

Does anyone know if there was a video?? It was the only time since this happened that I was genuinely sorry we didn't have t.v. access.

It was live and almost spur of the moment; but I'll wager they'll come out with a video before long.

Hey guys I went to WinMx, which is a place to download music from other people and you can get almost all the songs from there, so cool.
