I just got a message on my computer at work that it was attacking another computer on the net. Ooops.... They had checked it out yesterday, but evidently this virus hides well.

Well, I won't be doing much paid work today. Because my machine was attacking a another web server, they have stopped all dial-ins today, because my machine may not have been the only one. Somehow a couple of the machines that are used for dial-in purposes (telecommuting) have been infected. They are trying to figure out how since we were supposedly protected.

My machine here at home is fine, but then I use a different firewall than the company. Odd that the virus didn't find that direct pipeline into my computer.

Apparently, the virus wiped out a bunch of city, county and state sites over the last few days. Could have something to do with it, I suppose.

My computer is working fine. I have had alot of pings but my firewall has taken care of me so far (as I knock on wood). I get a bunch of alerts when I come here.
