Karen, a local jersey dairy sold out recently, and the cows were bringing from 1500 to upwards of 2000. It's ridiculous, I know. I bought our sweet 4-H raised Jersey for 650 from another homesteader. She was already 5 years old, and yes, she was bred. Her calf turned out to be a heifer, and we sold her weaned (and absolutely beautiful!) for 350. She was snapped up. If I had taken the effort of registering her, I would have easily gotten another 50.

In maysville Ky ,they were being sold for $300/ $350 per cow.jersey's are not a high value cow here. The sale is called Ok stockyard on the double AA highway. Mostly it depends on where you are, different prices in each location. Lexi

Hey Lexi, Do they sell bottle calves up there at the OK Stockyard and what do they go for? They are still high around here and we need a few more. We would even drive to OH if they were reasonable. Thanks.
