It's not exactly good news, but it may give O'Brien a chance to settle in the team for a bit.

Aaron seems to be a first choice but lost his form somewhat compared to the first half of last season. Bad news, but there still could be some positives out of it.

Wayne Quinn is also out for the same time period with hamstring and groin problems.

Gives Aaron a rest - with the week he's already had, this is the longest break he's had for about 18 months.

"Wayne Quinn is also out for the same time period with hamstring and groin problems. "

Now that is good news, Clarky.

You know Gibbo, I feel really sorry for Quinn.

During the Brentford game he was attacking on the left wing alongside Robert. Robert beat two blerks and flicked it wide to where Quinn should have been going forward to receive it. Unfortunately, he had stopped, 15 yards behind where Robert had played the ball. Robert looked thoroughly disgusted and just glared at him. The look of disappointment on Wayne's face said "oh bugger, I'm just not up to this standard".

He seems a nice lad and a good pro, but I'm afraid he is out of his depth - and I suspect he realises it. Shame.

Clarky, I agree with you and thought the same "oh shit" face appeared against Troyes. The only thing I would say is that he was injured for part of the Brentford game so his performance will have been affected by that..

Hopefully dearth of LB's might give Bernard a go on the bench at least.

Let's hope so Dan. The question that needs to be answered with Bernard is whether he can do the biz defensively.

BR recognises that his FB's primary role is to defend - which was why Domi got so few chances. We will never really know about Bernard until he gets a few chances in the 1st team - he rarely comes up against genuine wingers in the Central League.
