What Livestock Will Eat Spiny Amanranth?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

With buying hay from others I have imported spiny amanranth to my pastures. It will grow about 5' tall, has seed clusters, sharp spines on the shafts and will vigorously grow back if just cut off. If anyone else has this, have you had success with something like goats or a donkey?

When a critter is starving, it will eat dang near anything, but the only critter I know of that might eat those plants is the javalina. They love prickly pear cactus. So, how big a herd would you like!
