Celtic -v- Juve

Celtic wuz robbed tonight in the Del Appi Stad, a Juve team which for whatever reason have never excited me were probably worth their two goal lead but in the second half the Hoops were all over them, £50,000 Didier Agathe on one wing and Bobby Petta on for Thompson on the other had the Italian champs on the run and Celtics back three had the mark over Salas, Treguzet,Del Peiro. We talk about needing prescence at the back for the Toon, Celtics new guy Bobo Balde has it and then some. The jorman ref gave Juve the softest penalty yet on 90 mins. infuriating O Neil so much he was sent to the sand . Edgar Davids was sent off for persistent fouling (competetive wee sod) and his replacement was the Uraguayan , wait for it, O`Neil. Martin will have to ask Bobby about post match interviews , he was clearly distraught and in his one minute I counted 6 extrordinaires, 4 magnificients, 3 brilliants and 4 devasted,

It sounded pretty bad from Sky sports, as if it was never a penalty.

PS. Didn't Roma win Serie A last season?

I saw it on the news this morning and it was a complete joke - It was so bad I question the referee's impartiality!

Bad, and unfortunately game-determinng decision. However, most blame must go to the player not the Referee - from his position the Celtic CB was between him and The Cheating Git. I can understand how the Ref may have thought it was a penalty.
Another reason for video replays?

O'Neill (Martin) can belt up. Although Celtic played well at the end and deserved something from the game, Sutton spent the whole night diving (including for the penalty Celtic got). You can't have it both ways.
