No Disrespect. Just wondering

Been reading alot of these sights and I want opinions about the following: 1.) I have flown on the morning flight from Boston to the West Coast. Why was there only 6o or so people on the plane. (I am glad, but that seems awfully low for a cross country flight) 2.) The Dulles Flight took off an hour and a half before it hit the pentagon. How come CNN has not shown it's flight patter. We have seen the other three flights and how they all made u-turns or abrubpt right turns. Why no flight path of the Dulles Jet? 3.) The FAA was notified 12 minutes before it hit the pentagon, and there is no system in place to warn people? What about the 100 trillion plus that we pay in taxes each year. Isn't that a basic feature that should be installed on all building's that house our military planners and top brass. 4.) Where were the anti-aircraft missles that are supposed to be placed throughout the city? Finally, 5.) What was in the background of the WTC when the second plane hit?

I have been on more than 30 flights in my life out of Boston going to either California or Dallas..several were underbooked with one flight having less than 25 passengers..I recall joking with the flight attendants about it. I have seen on the news that the plane which left Dulles airport flew as far as Ohio and then was turned back towards Washington. 12 minutes to tell the USAF that a plane "might" be hijacked and headed towards Washington ain't very impressive. Sit there and watch a clock for 12 minutes and see how little time that is to find the plane with the transponder off, figure out if it has been hijacked and then get permission to shoot down American citizens out of the sky where the debris will not kill hundreds more. I believe there is a system which defends the capitol from missles..there has never been a need to defend it from captured US aircraft. Would American taxpayers a year ago have approved for additional spending to build a defense system in Washington to shoot down our own commercial airlines if somebody hijacked one someday? I cannot picture it being done myself. Many folks who frequent this and other forums would have viewed that as a thinly veiled attempt at putting something in place to be used against the citizens when the government tries to take our guns away. As far as "something" in the background of the WTC before, during or after the attack, I don't follow you. I have viewed both video and stills of the attacks and see nothing to remark on. What is it that you think you see?

Ok. Just a couple of things. It was 12 minutes that the FAA knew it was hijacked AND heading toward the White House/Pentagon, yet they did nothing. 12 minutes is more than enough time when you KNOW that two planes already hit the WTC, and one is heading toward the city where our leaders work. I subscribe to the theory that you don't let that plane make it to washington. How many air force bases are between Ohio and Washington DC? I can think of at least 6. Scrambling fighter jets might have been an option. I am not suggesting that we blindly shoot commercial planes out of the sky. But most airline pilots come from the military. So I think a fighter jet flying close by, directing you away from a certain flight path or city seems to me like the smart thing to do. If it does not obey commands to alter course, then there is no choice. You can only go on what you know. All hell was breaking loose, I understand that, but come on. www.drudgereport.com - go to the right side of the page, it has the link to the mysterious object in the background. Some say it was a air to air missle that missed... I don't know.

1) The passengers were called and bumped to later flights. heard this from the relative of a passenger who was bumped from the second plane to hit the towers. Makes perfect sense too. They needed to minimize the number of folks they had to control, and got a hold of the passenger manifest.

2) I keep asking about that plane as well, and reports early on said it simply circled the capitol for an hour. One suggestion was that it wanted to wait for Bush to get back to the Whitehouse, but i felt that was not worth exploring as there just wasn't enough time for that to transpire.

3)uh, yup.

4) Didn't know there were anti aircraft missles deployed in DC. I imagine that the DC gangs could use those pretty roughly if given the opportunity. (joke, albeit bad)

5) I will have to go look and this uis the first I have heard about this at all.

I heard that there were anti-aircraft guns on the White House, maybe that is why the plane never got near enough to it. Another report says it did not circle the White House, but could not find it in the landscape (tree line, hill, etc.) and went for the visable Pentagon. I do not know which, if any, were true. I definately think we need to build up military now, before we use up all the planes, etc. The airforce has old F-16's still flying that take a LOT of upkeep. True, they move well, but what if one conks out when you need it? If the government was up against the wall and tried to fire on the plane, and was unsuccessful, then would you want that posted everywhere for any country to read? Another idea, what about the air controllers? Did they respond immediately? Did they follow the plane closely? I understand that there are usually so many flights that the screen looks like a sea of planes. Just some thoughts. We may find out something tomorrow that will change this whole idea. :}

The Drudge report link is on the main page of www.Armadilloworld.com - go to the bottom of the page. It is there. Also, new info keeps pouring in. Things are getting pretty interesting.
