I suspect all Becks said was that their target was not to lose a game in Taggart's last season in charge. I reckon too much has been made of this comment, which has undoubtedly been quoted out of context.

Possibly clarky but it still shouldn't have been said....it's no different to our lot of idiots spouting off about how we're gonna break the london hoo doo or how we should win the next 3 easy games...blah blah blah, it makes us all cringe and can sometimes just spur the opposition on.....

Very true, Gav - very true.

Dabizas telling Blanc how to defend made me wince a bit - we have Liverpool a week on Sunday....

Well, according to MUTV, "United" should have won Saturday's game.

According to their Irish co-commentator (Pat Nevin I think): "How much luck can Newcastle get in game? Three breaks and three goals, how unlucky can United be?"

Can you believe this man?

But United did win. :-)

Unlucky? One of their b*stard goals was offside and they missed precisely as many chances as we did.

don't rise to the bait - wherever it comes from. we're bigger and better than that.

Pat Nevin is as Irish as Kenny Dalglish, maybe it was Paddy Crerand ?

Joke

I've watched the video again, and they fail to replay the Keane "attempted punch" from the critical angle where every other TV program showed it from. Why can't they jsust be honest instead of trying to give their glory hunting sheep a false impression of the game of football and how it should be played.

Spelling mistake there: "jsust" should be "just"
