following this weekends results, I am extremely worried Newcastle are on-course to win the League, FA-Cup, Wimbledon, the Ryder Cup and the "not finishing behind the mackems" trophy....

I went to the quack for some reality therapy and he assures me Man U's defence is a heap of sh1te.

As long as that has provided some comfort to you that all that really counts, Ml#3.

BTW, the Ryder Cup is out of the question this season - it's been postponed until next year. ;o{)

....Man U's defence is a heap of sh1te....

That explains 3 flukey points, but what other games have we spawned to end up fourth ? I can't get away from thinking we've had one or two canny, if unexpected results up to now.

No doubt your quack has enlightened you on this point as well, so please ML enlighten us. :-))

Your game at Villa was presumably a masterpiece of defending? 0-0: got to give credit to both sides for their awesome defending.

In 10 days time, we should be top of the league. It's a good start, for sure

I'm sure that Sunderland will start to do a bit better when the promised millions are spent by Mr Reid .

As they say, 'pride comes before a fall'. We'll see who is laughing last in May.

Fancy dans, like Keegan's 'entertainers', come and go but great teams are built on DEFENCE.

This isn't the real Makem Lurker: he wouldn't be such a t*t. No one thinks we'll win the league but I know with an astounding certainty that in three games we have had more entertainment than the Makems will get all season.

No one thinks we'll win the league?

I DO !

Manchester United, arguably the greatest team in England. They have won three consecutive league titles.

Where is their defence? Great teams are built on attack. If you can't score you can't win the game and you don't win the league.

Do Man Utd fans value Silvestre and Phil Neville more than Ryan Giggs and Beckham?
