Prayer request deleted on CS (the saga continues).

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

Its long been old hat for most of those that post here but my continued viewing of the hijacked CS forum finally got to me. The infamous Ken deleted a man who posted a prayer request for his dying mother. Nothing proselytizing or preaching about it, just a plea for help. Glad to have finally checked out this forum.

Oh, by the way the email address given is fake but I've checked 'NO" to email alerts. I've become suspicious.

Well hey Charles, welcome!!! My email (bisquit) is a fake too. Mostly because if I use my real one my comments on threads go right on the top and it really messes up the thread.

Sorry about CS, but your description is quite appropriate!

Well, I just found you all thanks to somebody posting on the topic (can't remember who, sorry) but I sure do appreciate it.

The hardest part of all of this is that Countryside Mag was the first magazine that wasn't New Age. I just paid for two years subscription and I suppose now that a lot of the Christians have left the readership left behind will be a lot of new agers. If I wanted that I would have gotten Mother Earth News!

It's a shame there isn't a good Christian replacement for it. I guess we all need to pray for Ken. Perhaps that is his problem anyway! People under conviction can get pretty angry!

Pray for him!

Good point about Ken! You're right, people under conviction do get very upset. We'll all have to pray for him. Welcome to you both. This is a great place!
