Nothing to say.....it is beautiful. But I think if the moon and its reflection are omitted will looks better.

I agree. If the exposure was such that the details of the moon could be captured, it would be work keeping, but as it is, it's distracting. Otherwise, this is a great shot.

How much did the use of tilt come into play? I'm assuming that no shift was really needed, but that tilt was used for sharp foreground and background rendering.

I have some 4x5 w/ moon detail later in the day but I love the mood of the early morning shots better.

I'd say not more than 1-2 degrees of tilt. 24mm has gobs of DOF by itself.

OK, interesting. I don't have the advantage of tilt, just shift and variable field curvature (the latter of which I don't have much use for), so I'm always curious as to what I'm missing.

On a second look, I don't think I would leave the cloud, since it's not holding any color from the sunrise. My crop suggestion would be from just below the rock in the water to just above the mountain on the left.
